Something New From humanDAO
This week humanDAO were excited to unveil the first prototypes of our AI Assistants - a handy plugin to help game devs and studios onboard and educate new players so they can focus on building great games. AI Assistants curate everything that’s been officially published about a game, along with expert tips and strategies from players, and gives you precisely what you need to know so you don’t have to trawl through a whitepaper or Discord announcements.
Give them a try today to explore InfiniGods and their game InfiniMerge, or learn more about humanDAO.
What We’re Playing Now
Trial Xtreme
Well, technically it’s what we were playing, since the alpha has now closed. But you would have known all about that if you were in our new Discord channel!
This one is worth a Twitter follow though for when it does open up again, because it’s an absolute blast.
Trial Xtreme puts you on a motocross bike and challenges you to navigate a series of obstacles, ranging from simple ramps and objects to insane the-insurance-company-would-never-approve-this-IRL jumps and rings of fire. It’s fast, smooth, and has some great little gaming features like a speed boost for completing daring front and back flips.
The controls are easy to pick up, and the tournament mode - which pits you against all comers to complete the fastest lap(s) within a short time window - gets the competitive juices flowing, with competitor ‘ghosts’ to give you a feel for how you’re progressing and attractive prizes that can unlock new bike parts and entry to more lucrative contests.
For now there’s no direct web3 integration, but we had good fun collecting parts, creating bikes, and fusing them together to upgrade our ride so we can go faster and higher. This will be a fun NFT-based feature in the future.
What really sold this one is that it passed the ‘kid test’. As soon as the three mini GameChatters saw it they wanted to play, and we were laughing to the point of hiccups watching each other jump and crash spectacularly in equal measure.
We can’t wait to see the game back in its next release!
Legends of Crypto
The first thing that caught our eye about Legends of Crypto was the fun inside humour. It’s a card-based strategy game where players compete to occupy the most spaces on a 3 x 3 grid. A bit like a more violent version of tic-tac-toe, with crypto personalities.
Cards like ‘NFT Hunter’ and ‘Master of Leverage’ present different attacking abilities and health stats. With three to choose from in any given turn, it’s all about optimising the current move for what you’ve got available, and saving those real premium cards for when they’re needed.
LoC offers multiple game modes including a single player campaign through famous crypto cities like London and Miami, and PvP mode where you can test your skills and your deck competitively.
LoC is currently running its ‘Awakening’ season - check out the trailer below to get a feel for what awaits you!
If you want to get started, your first stop is the marketplace*, where card packs are priced from $50.

What We’re Looking Forward To
It was an exciting week at GameChat HQ, with private beta access to Illuvium and Army of Tactics locked in!
If you love to get your hands on things early, have you checked out the Game7 #playtesting channel? It’s one of the most accessible ways to be a part of helping new games create the best experiences for players. You’ll find it in their Discord.
And of course we’d love to have you join us in the GameChat general discussion and alpha forums in the humanDAO server. It’s a quiet little web3 haven (for now) where I’ll be posting links and alpha more frequently than the newsletter goes out.
